WORKS ELABORATION:
Several of the old people in the series Not to Be Forgotten have all gone with the wind, epitomizing the millions of Japanese victims of the "comfort women" system, who have suffered countless abuse and atrocities in their lives. They spent their lives waiting for an apology, but until now the Japanese government is silent about the "comfort women" incident. The Japanese government yearns for the passage of time and cover up everything, but we should remember all this, because scars are true. If we forget the truth, history and past, then how can we explain the "where do we come from" in the three meanings of life?
TUTOR COMMENT:
Yu Na's graduation creation "Unforgettable" is based on the victims of the "comfort women" system during the Anti-Japanese War.This series of works is full of emotional appeal, retaining a lot of occasional traces in the picture, while enhancing the painting and reflecting the texture of time.As can be seen from the work, she has a good grasp of modeling and techniques, and has high sensitivity to materials. In her paintings, the characteristics of the material and the expressed themes are highly compatible.I hope this creative experience can become a cornerstone of Yu Na's future artistic creation. Her original intention will not change and she will never be away.
