WORKS ELABORATION:
This work is an excavation and interpretation of the historical memory of Wuhan city. Through the visual restoration of the nine gates of Wuchang built in the Ming Dynasty, it shows the urban appearance and market culture of Wuhan, and examines the things buried by development from the perspective of modern people today, which emphasizes the inheritance of context and the identification of traditional culture. Every picture, character and allusion under the nine gates are a restart of memory, a heritage of context, an encounter with the river city, and an important means to connect history with the future.
