WORKS ELABORATION:
This collection is driven by the loving memories about hometown, the sparkling light on the river, the moss-covered brick cracks, the old houses, the wooden storage cabinets, and the peeling wall. Along the way, I recycled kids clothes and hand-woven cotton bed sheets from some households in the village, as well as curtains and bed sheets from my own home to recombination and redesign.
TUTOR COMMENT:
The collection uses a unique language to show the warm hometown in memory. The designer started design thinking on the basis of the old clothes collected in her hometown, and combined the faux chenille technique that often used in Fiber Art with creative fashion design , which not only expanded the performance of material recycling, and also gives the hometown in the designer's impression a new style of the times.
