WORKS ELABORATION：
My work was created in spring with the inspiration of "flowers blooming". In the process of growing, flowers will bloom in their own way even if they encounter hardships, bringing the most beautiful side to the world. Therefore, the softness of flowers contains high-spirited power, symbolizing life and hope. In the work, soft lines are used to express the life rhythm of flowers. The clean white clay surface is decorated with plant fiber texture and shimmering white glaze, which cooperate with the changes of light and shadow to show the purity and flexibility of flowers. Under the epidemic situation, I hope that through this group of works, I can express my blessing for the future. Spring will come, flowers will bloom, and all difficulties could eventually be overcome.

Creative themes such as flowers and plants are not uncommon in ceramic creation. The key lies in how to find the law of natural plant growth and touching details from the concrete form, so as to make their own style. Bai WANYING's graduation creation "spring preface" is a series of flower shapes made of rhythmic clay slices inspired by the process of "flowers blooming". The works are made of jade clay and translucent white glaze to show the delicate and flexible visual effect of flower petals. The work was created in spring, and the opening of flowers also shows a kind of uplifting vitality, which gives people spiritual inspiration. Through the work, it implies the good wishes of "fighting with one heart and waiting for the flowers to bloom".
